Ardmel Precision Engineering

Ardmel Precision Engineering has assembled a complementary set of processes for complex precision work in Glenrothes. Its capability includes 5-axis CNC milling, Y-axis and live-tooling turning, Sodick wire EDM and CAD/CAM programming, with CMM and non-contact inspection available to verify the finished geometry. Toolmaking, jigs and fixtures sit alongside component manufacture, so the business can support both production parts and the tooling used to make or inspect them. Its published manufacturing capability also lists CNC Machining, CNC Milling, CNC Turning, and Multi-axis Machining (3-axis, 5-axis), adding further detail to the processes available from the Glenrothes operation.
