Camtec Engineering
Prototype-to-production CNC machining with 4th-axis capacity
About Camtec Engineering
Camtec Engineering has been machining in Plymouth since 1990 and is set up for both development work and repeat manufacture. Its CNC milling and turning is supported by CAD/CAM, 3D machining, 4th-axis work and Renishaw probing, with milling travel published at up to 1,000 × 650 × 500 mm. Alongside conventional engineering metals, Camtec works with exotic alloys, engineered plastics and composites. The same team also produces jigs, fixtures and mechanical assemblies, allowing prototype work to progress into low- or higher-volume production without changing supplier.
