Channing Engineering
Prototype and small-batch CNC with live-tooling turning
About Channing Engineering
Channing Engineering is geared toward prototype and small-batch work where parts change frequently and machinists need flexibility. The Spalding shop covers milling, turning, drilling, threading and assembly, with several live-tooling lathes and bar-feed capacity up to around three metres. Its published material range spans steels, stainless, aluminium, magnesium, brass, bronze and engineering plastics including PTFE and PEEK. Channing has supplied fish-farm equipment, agricultural parts, industrial lighting and motorsport work, including historic Formula 1 and hill-climb applications, giving the business a distinctly development-led profile.
