FDi Engineering

FDi Engineering is set up as an integrated manufacturing partner rather than a machining-only subcontractor. From Dorset Innovation Park it combines CNC machining with fabrication and welding, mechanical fitting and assembly, allowing customers to place work that progresses from individual components into a more complete mechanical build. The company operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality system and positions its service around turnkey engineering packages where coordination between machining, fabrication and assembly is part of the requirement. Its published manufacturing capability also lists CNC Machining, CNC Milling, and CNC Turning, adding further detail to the processes available from the Winfrith Newburgh operation.
