Forrest Precision Engineering
Long-shaft turning and gear manufacture from a Glasgow machine shop
About Forrest Precision Engineering
Forrest Precision Engineering has a machine-shop profile built around size, repair capability and gearing. Established in 1983, the Glasgow company publishes CNC turning to roughly 410 mm diameter by three metres and conventional turning out to around five metres, alongside a gear shop capable of components up to about 1.5 metres in diameter. Spur, helical, bevel and worm gears, splines and sprockets sit beside general machining, reverse engineering and MIG/TIG fabrication. The result is a practical source for replacement, legacy and heavy industrial components as well as new one-off and medium-batch manufacture.
