FTD is geared to prototypes, individual components and flexible small-series production from its Drachten facility. The company combines CNC turning, three- and five-axis milling, turn-mill machining and CAD/CAM programming, with automation available for unattended output and on-demand supply. Its machinists work across aluminium, titanium, tool steel, duplex stainless steel, other ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, and engineering plastics.
