Heemskerk Fijnmechanica combines a large machining capacity with an unusually wide production range. More than 50 CNC machines, including 13 robot-loaded systems, support prototypes, one-offs and series extending to one million parts. The Waddinxveen operation covers three- and five-axis milling, turning from two to thirteen axes, CNC sawing, spark erosion, surface grinding, welding and assembly. It also designs and manufactures vacuum-forming and thermoforming moulds for food and non-food packaging. Three-dimensional measurement, reverse engineering and CAD/CAM support sit alongside production, and the company works within an ISO 9001 quality system.
