Mettis Aerospace

Mettis Aerospace manufactures forged and precision-machined components from its fully integrated Redditch facility. The site operates more than 50 machining centres around the clock and supports complex milling and turning in aluminium, titanium, steel and other aerospace materials. Machining is integrated with forging, inspection, finishing and assembly, allowing Mettis to deliver completed high-integrity components rather than unfinished forgings alone. The company supplies aerospace, defence and specialist industrial programmes and maintains a range of quality and laboratory accreditations. Its scale and single-site manufacturing depth make it materially different from the smaller subcontract machining businesses in earlier Sourcima batches.
