Northumbria Engineering
Subcontract machining paired with reverse engineering and bespoke test equipment
About Northumbria Engineering
Northumbria Engineering combines conventional subcontract machining with work that starts from an existing part or an engineering problem rather than a finished drawing. Its Blyth plant covers CNC turning from roughly 2 to 400 mm, 3- and 4-axis milling, a Star SR-20RIV 7-axis sliding-head machine and surface grinding. Laser scanning and SolidWorks support reverse engineering, while the company also produces special-purpose jigs, hotplates and test equipment. That makes it useful for both repeat components and difficult replacement or development work.
