RAF General Engineering

RAF General Engineering runs two roughly 5,000 sq ft Workington units that combine precision machining with fabrication. Its machining side includes six machining centres, three CNC lathes, manual equipment and 3D CAD/CAM, while the fabrication team undertakes TIG and MIG work in stainless and other steels. With lifting and handling capacity quoted up to 15 tonnes, RAF can take on a wider physical range than a typical subcontract machine shop and is particularly suited to mixed machined-and-fabricated industrial packages.
