Tyneside Lasers is a dedicated profiling operation in Cramlington built around a Trumpf TruLaser 3040 fibre system with a 4,000 × 2,000 mm bed. The company publishes cutting tolerances around ±0.1 mm and material ranges from thin sheet up to roughly 25 mm mild steel, stainless and aluminium, with brass and copper also supported to lower thicknesses. Production runs 24/7 and spans prototypes through to thousands of pieces. CAD assistance and reverse engineering are available, making the business useful both for production blanks and for customers starting from an existing part rather than a clean drawing.
