Major Fabrications

Major Fabrications has been operating since 1982 and is equipped for larger sheet-metal work than many light-fabrication shops. Its Kent plant includes CNC laser capacity around 4 × 2 metres and an eight-axis, 150-tonne press brake with a three-metre working length, supported by MIG, TIG and MMA welding. The company can take customer sketches into 3D CAD and coordinate finishing including painting, plating, galvanising, powder coating and stove enamelling. The setup suits fabricated assemblies and larger formed parts where design assistance and downstream completion are as important as the initial cut.
